Dave is a true gem! He is a person of integrity, honesty, knowledge and friendly. His prices are extremely reasonable and he is fast.
I called Dave to repair some panel blinds for which I could not find parts. He was able to get the parts and fix the blinds. He communicated quickly and even though he had to drive quite a distance to get the part and get back to my house, he did it. The part he replaced then broke (it's cheap plastic) in October. He honored his 90 day warranty of his work and charged nothing for the service call or the part. He is pleasant, and friendly and extremely reliable. Dave provided wonderful and affordable service. He is professional, courteous and cost effective , which was our biggest concern.
We used Dave's Shutter & Blind for our home's plantation shutters. The shutter quality was fine,however, the installers (Dave, the owner was with them) did not clean up after themselves. After the installation was completed, a follow-up phone call I made to Dave (the owner) has still not been returned to me. For almost $5,000 in blinds, I would have expected a return phone-call.
If you want professional service and exceptional know-how, then call Dave. He not only repaired my 23-year-old verticals to make them work like new, but he installed new mini-blinds in my kitchen that he special-ordered, all in a very timely manner. His prices are very reasonable. He is very personable and prides himself on doing a fine job. He is responsive to emails and phone calls, and arrives exactly when he says he will. I will be using his services again, no question.
Dave was awesome! He kept in touch with me throughout the day about his schedule. I called at 9am asking him to repair my blind the same day, and with his full schedule, he was able to juggle me in. Very accommodating, a professional, and just a nice man to hang out with while he worked. As a Realtor, I've found it very difficult to find a good professional worker bee.....this is Dave!
I was impressed with Dave sticking with his original estimate even though he probably lost money on my project. That is so refreshingly decent nowadays. A tenant moved out and I was foolish enough to let her repair the shutters after she moved out. She got an estimate from Dave, passed it off to me as paid invoice and then disappeared without paying anything to Dave.
