When you walk into Davenport's, you know you have entered a classic pizzeria. Tables with checkered tablecloths are lit with candles, and from your seat you can watch your pizza being hand-tossed and prepared in the open kitchen. The story goes that Davenports was the first solid food I ate. That was in 1970, our family still loves to eat there & do pretty often. I have eaten pizza all over America & have yet to find any that tastes better. We are now bringing up the 4th generation of Davenport lovers.
Eating better for over 40 years. I live in North Alabama now and always look for a reason to eat here when in B'ham!!!
