Doctors like Davenport are the reason that specialists have a reputation for treating patients like nothing more than an annoyance that happens to be attached to their favorite organ. He spoke to me for less than a minute, then left the room and had his nurse explain the cystoscopy they wanted to do. He came back, shoved a camera up my urethra, and said, "Looks fine, I'm bouncing you back to your GP." It's possible that he's a fine surgeon, but he's a pretty awful human.
I saw this doctor for low testosterone. He didn't help whatsoever. He kept asking me about what I thought we should do, but he is the doctor shouldn't he be the one who gives treatment advice. He must have not even looked at my chart because he didn't know what medications I take. I don't even think he looked at the overall trend of my blood work, as he didn't mention anything about how it had progressively gotten worse. He was in with me for just 3 minutes. I feel he was negligent in his duties
Terry L. Dr. Davenport is the best urologist in the USA. While other urologist would have removed my left kidney he went into it three times and removed a massive stone and saved it and my life. I cant thank him and the Jackson Clinic enough for what they did for me. They gave me a second chance on life. I highly recommend Dr. Davenport to every one that needs a urologist.
On behalf of a woman who does NOT trust Drs. Dr. Davenport is someone we want in our corner. My mom came in with a bladder full of cancer end of Oct. n hes has been there every step of the way. Dr. Davenport doesn't know this but he had one role. Be my hero. Not bc its a realistic goal, but bc I love my mom. Expectations are so ridiculously high that the Dr will never measure up. So in the end all I can say is I respect n admire a man who blindly takes on the role of being my hero.
He is the most rude, condescending doctor I have ever been to. He is disrespectful and lacks a lot of knowledge. I would never see him again.
1st visit he would ask a question & before we could answer he would stop us & ask another question. Did not spend enough time set up test & did not tell when we would need to come back. Did urinalysis did not get results. We spent all week end thinking I had might have bladder or prostate cancer. But on follow up visit he was super nice, took time to give test results!! We already have an appointment for follow up care with him!! Ronnie & James , his. Nurses super nice!
Found him very friendly and professional.
He didn't listen to anything I said and was very dismissive, lacked compassion.
