I toured many housing complexes in Rexburg today, and Davenport was one of few that had a sincerely good feeling about it. The male manager gave us the tour and he was very kind and respectful. He is keeping everything undercontrol even though his wife just gave birth so she isn't there right now. The apartment was nice and well cared for even though it is older.
Bad attitude from the male manager :) Stalking me in the car and I felt threatened. He then proceeded to honk at me and showing me very disappointing attitude because of throwing trash to their apartment complex dumpster since ours is full. Understood it was other people’s property but he could’ve told me in a nicer way.
My gf used to live here. There is only a single parking space for visitors and sometimes you cant even park there because the dumpster is in the way. When I did park in the actual parking lot it was so tight that neither of my door could open enough to get out without squeezing The internet was awful and my girlfriend had to come to my apartment to do homework because it wouldnt work in her house.
Horror stories from living here in 2021(so hopefully things have changed by now). Found mushrooms growing out of the carpet. Fire alarm didn’t work and a crazy roommate set the stove on fire, which lead us to finding out the fire extinguisher was also broken (luckily we put it out ourselves). Hot water didn’t last for more than 10 minutes which was rough sharing 1 shower with 5 other girls and having to do dishes by hand since there was no dishwasher. When I lived here there was mold in our apartment. My roommate got bronchitis and I developed difficulty breathing. They didn’t even do professional remediation. They just bought us pizza to say sorry. Read the other reviews talking about mold. You get what you pay for and your health is worth much more than this. Steer clear.
