My son was in Lewes for his cousin's high school graduation this past week. I booked 4 privates with Coach Ellis Ferreira and those 4 sessions were phenomenal. Coach Ellis is very much a "technique geek" and I mean it with the utmost respect. He made sure my son understood the reasoning behind the way he holds his racquet, why his feet have to be in a certain position, why he needs to bend his knees when he is serving; this was one of many tips/advice he gave my son. Not a very nice man. He may be known for his tennis knowledge, the facility is decent. If you want to use the pool during the summer, forget it. You’re considered an inconvenient existence. Looks like the pool was a package with the facility. The operating hours are absurd. 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Weekdays and 11:00 to 5:00 PM on Weekends.
World champs! A famous coach with a winning record!! I cannot recommend Dave Marshall’s Tennis Academies enough! A great staff with top notch instruction all around including one on one. Their clinics are amazing with players from all skill sets. If you want to learn from the best in the business come check them out right here in Lewes Delaware!

Great year round tennis facility & professional staff
Dave is an excellent coach as well as his support staff. We live in PA and my daughter goes to his clinic almost every time we are in the area. She really enjoys working with him. He has such a strong knowledge base and is great with conveying court strategy to his players. The camp in July is the best my daughter has attended. She is a sophomore and is playing number 1 in her high school. Thanks Dave!!!
