Dave & Buster's Service is terrible – Great place for games, even though the selection is sparse to say the least, I can't really see spending more than 20 bucks on the games there, but that is different for everyone. The problem I had was the food service, we ate in the dining area and it took 2 hours by the time we were done, and most of that was waiting on the order to make it back to the table. So sit down, order appetizer, 30 minutes, eat it, order food, 45 minutes, eat it, get desert, 20 minutes, it was ridiculous.
Would Rather be at a Chuck E Cheese – I will never go back to this Dave & Busters. The Service from all of the staff was horrible, I felt as though it was social hour (for the employees) and I was bothering them. At times I was waiting for the Staff to finish their conversations with one another before they helped customers in the gift shop or the ticket counter. this place is scary – Stay away from here unless u want rude service, get intimidated by ghetto people and even worse quality food.
Best Late Happy Hour – I go every Wed for half off games and the Best Happy Hour ever from 9-11. I love the Bartenders, they are friendly and funny. I would def reccommend you stop by and try it out.
Fun times at D&B – It is a fun place to visit when you need a night to feel young again without the dance clubs. I enjoy some of the games, and I do like to watch the Blackhawks or Cubs here. A very diverse crowd, so that is always enjoyable. Prices are about the norm for the Chicago area. Definitely recommend.
Fun but expensive and hot – Let me start by saying the food and drink is expensive here! I paid almost three bucks for a glass of coke! I had a burger here which wasnt that great...tasted like cheap processed food. Fries somewhat salty. The staff is alright but they do come off like they dont care at times. The place gets very warm after being there for awhile. I wish they would do more maintainence here. The air hockey tables on the corner needed some attention. Fantastic Friday Night – We were there Friday night and right from when we walked in the place blew us away. The games flashing, all the TVs going with all the opening day baseball games playing, It was like we stepped into Vegas. It was our first time there and the guy standing at the front door was more then helpful explaining to us how the games worked (with a power card), where to order food, and even what games he liked the best. Fun but expensive – I have been to the Dave and Buster's in Addison a few times but never to this location until last Saturday. Overall, an OK place for adults to have fun, although it can get pricey. Parking: I'm not sure how hard parking was to find, as I was asleep and one of my friends was driving. Everything Broken – Like any D&B location, their philosophy for maintenance is to never repair anything, ever, unless it runs out of tickets or stops responding to card-swipes. Every time I've gotten roped into going to a D&B location, I was promised that "this one is different." Every time I'm proven right: every machine has something broken, nothing ever works right.
