We came to stay here for more of a historic experience understanding that this isn’t luxury but did expect the rooms to be clean. Our first room had blood on the door frame leading into the bathroom as well as a strong musty smell but I believe that was due to the air conditioning. TV kind of worked and then after the first night the air conditioning broke so we ended up getting placed in another room to where we were told one of the hotel staff was going to get out new keys and then we heard nothing so had to pack up and go... read more
Cute, boutique hotel in the French Quarter in New Orleans. We came on a weekday, and it was out of the way enough to be quiet, but close enough to make the trip walkable for the most part. Easy walk to the river. The hotel has a couple of cute balconies and a patio with shade for working outside or relaxing. And the staff were friendly and welcoming. Altogether pleasant.
Booked a balcony room, got a room with a tiny window view of the building next door. Had to argue to get $20 off room.
