Views from the 4th floor of Daugette Towers. Daugette Towers is a little niche community that holds true to community unionship. We, the people, of Gadsden have to stick together. We can't let ANYONE outside of our existence, take away what's ours......EARTH!!
The new management has taken care of business. They’re doing a great job. The man that stirred up trouble around the apartments was also stealing, and he has received an eviction. It’s really become a nice place to live. There are also people of all ages living here, so everyone here has a friend or two. It has also freed me up financially. Being on social security, my rent is under $300. It’s been a life saver. Probably the best income based apartments around. It’s well worth the wait. The apartments are great, but being low-income housing, a lot of the residence can't leave because they don't have transportation. They get tied up in their own drama. A lot of fighting, arguments, gossip, harassment, etc. Ended up having to call the police to stop being harrassed. Also, the residents will steal your laundry out of the dryers in the laundry room. The washers and dryers do not lock when in use, so they can be opened at anytime. Also, we have new property managers here as of August 2026.
