This is my second experience with this company both with poor communication from the company with regard to hospital ER bills due. The most recent experience was exceptionally poor with no written notice provided for services after a request to resubmit to my insurance was made. I believed that this had been done and nothing more was owed on the bill. The consumer would have received notification from her insurance carrier that the claim left a patient responsibility. That said, we have reviewed our processes to ensure additional steps are taken in the future to ensure that consumers received additional notification.
I think the company should have tried harder to get my insurance company to pay. It was necessary dental work done during surgery, necessary to remove serious mouth cancer. I am paying 1 to 2 times a month to pay off and NEVER does Data Search send me a statement showing my balance. I sure hope I don't experience similar problem of getting this off my credit report. My husband is on disability so I am only one working.
Their website does not display account balances, nor does it verify the account owner when submitting a payment. Due to this a payment which was made went to an incorrect account I did not own. When calling their center I was cut off three times immediately after their representative answered the call. They refuse to email any information pertaining to debts owed and account balances. Instead insisting on mailing a statement for each account individually further delaying payments
