Dat Dog offers a selection of sausage sandwiches which must be the biggest in New Orleans. They are all an elaboration of the hot dog in appearance but the variety is so much more than hot dogs. Sandwiches are in the $8 to $10 range and you get a lot of meat for that. Beer is available as well.

You can find something for everyone here. Awesome atmosphere and I LOVED the 90s alternative playing during lunch.
great dogs and service very friendly
We were thrilled to find a place with vegan hotdogs, and this place definitely delivered! We had two apple sage field roast sausages and they were covered with delicious vegan toppings! My vegetarian friend got the fries (which, sadly, are not vegan), and he said they were delicious, too. The location is also awesome; we got to watch an impromptu concert as we were finishing our dinner!
