WORST NAIL PLACE IN NYC – I am so far from anyone who complains but after what they did to me the DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING, I just had to share so it did not happen to anyone else. I walked in with long nails that were covered in the UV gel. I wanted to get the permanent french for the wedding and my nails trimmed a bit. She took the clipper and went across my nails while talking to the other nail tech next to her and snapped off 3 of 10 nails down to the tip of the finger. Best pedicure – I tried many salons all over the city, but none can eveer top Dashign Diva West, the management is super friendly and the place is really cute! and pink!, i think its the biggest Dashing Diva ive been to yet. Great place to unwind on the weekends, .very clean. The summer pedicure was amazingggggggggggg!
Totally Overated – I went in a few times but just couldn't go back. If you want a manicure they are ok but the pedicures are horrible. I went in the middle of the week, less crowded but the women doing the pedicures were soaking my blouses with all their splashing. They don't help you down after a pedicure and the floor is very slippery, no one comes by to mop. I made the mistake of getting a brazilian wax and the room was the size of a linen closet. You Deserve a Break! Great Service! – I've been going to DD since it open and very happy to have it in the neighborhood. My daughter has had two fabulous birthday parties. I have experience excellent service each time. The salon has a very welcoming atmosphere, we love the variety of videos. Great Service and FUN!! – This place is amazing. My daughter had her birthday there and it was the best ever. All of the technicians were sweet, experienced and made her fell like a princess (her friends were just as happy). I had them do gel wraps/extensions and I can't believe how long it has lasted. The Capri pedicure was divine. The jelly like foot bath was an experience and they even got my feet silky soft. I recommend it highly to all moms and their kids. It is clean, friendly and FUN for all.
Horrible Service! – I have been getting my nails done for years and years religiously and I am an executive in the beauty industry. I decided to go here after hearing and reading all the raves about it for a manicure. First off my manicurist was very rude and unfriendly- she looked at my nails with disgust because they were done at a different place. Then she hurt me many times!! Pretty awful – I go for manis and pedis all the time and was really excited to go to DD last week with my sister. Maybe the other locations are good but this one was TERRIBLE. They were playing the same three music videos over and over again, the staff was rude and rushed, and the job was nothing to write home about. And it cost $80!!!
