The referral process is absolutely the most ridiculous process I have ever seen. My insurance is an HRA so I don't need a referral for insurance purposes but they make you ha e a primary care visit for every referral then the department they refer you to takes over a week to read the notes to decide if they want to see you or not. I have a couple of chronic, congenital issues and I know what type of specialist I need already but I just moved here so I have to jump through 100 hoops and it's very frustrating
