He over-prescribes because he does not actually listen to his patients. He starts a child on 180 mg dose of vyvanse when the normal dosage is 30mg. That seems dangerous. He is aware of the potential negative side effects of such a dosage but does not care. Do you or your family a favor and go to see an actual qualified and caring psychiatrist. He has dropped off the face of the earth. Have been trying for WEEKS to get him to refill my sons prescriptions and he has not responded in any way.... no refills.... no phone calls... no explanation. Now, my son is on campus out of state and has NO MEDICINE and no way to get it.
Sadly anyone giving Friesen a good reviews has never been to a good doctor. It has been years that my son saw him. I told him NOT to put him on an RX as I have many doctors AND more attorneys in my family. He did not diagnose properly and of course his arrogant self knew better! 3 pills later my son had a terrible reaction! My son still blames me for taking him to a BAD doctor. YES over 20 years later.
