Darren did an amazing job on my calcaneal (heelbone) fracture (multiple breaks) & joint displacement, I had one of the worst apparently but also the quickest recovery time with no complications. He explained everything before/after surgery and laid out a recovery plan, which went like clockwork eg I was doing physio after 8 weeks. I would suggest he is the best in the business in this particular area.
I am so grateful to have been looked after by Dr Darren Webb. He instilled confidence in me for my first ever surgery and took care of me recognizing the stress and treated my anxiousness with such care and compassion. He was super helpful with advice and guidance and was so great in helping me feel better about the whole process. Dr Darren Webb is a true genius in what he does. I shattered the top of my left tibia to the point of possibly never walking again. Dr Webb put the multiple bone fragments back into place and several screws and plates later sutured my leg up.. the injury to my knee was brutal and the surgery took more than 3 hours. It all healed well and I wanted subsequent surgery to increase mobility and I went to another ortho because Dr Webb was a bit too honest with me about what I could expect to see in terms of increased mobility. Amazing Orthopaedic surgeon. I cannot believe this guy had no reviews and almost made the mistake of going elsewhere (and it would have cost me heaps more). GREAT RESULT (read on) and you couldn’t meet a nicer guy. What I had done: repaired a large tear in my perennial tendon, repaired and reattached 2 x lateral ankle ligaments, debrided etc a large-deep osteochondral lesion in my Talus bone, also smoothed out a large osteophyte (bony spur) at the front of the bone…13 days later cast off and there is minimal swelling.
