Dr. Gitelman is extremely caring and very dedicated. He and his staff truly go above and beyond for their patients and are very responsive, supportive and dedicated.
I have received excellent care from both Dr. GITELMAN and his staff. Testing was conducted promptly and diagnostic tests were ordered quickly. All of my phone calls and portal messages were returned within 24 hours. Great doctor, NP’s and staff!
Horrible experience. We waited 8 months for my 93 year old mothers first appointment. His office is at Lutheran General in a building not easily accessible especially for any elderly patient. On the second followup appointment with his assistant/nurse, we ran late because I was trying to find a parking space close by. As a result we were told the assistant cant see her anymore because its a 15 minute grace period.. What an ordeal. BTW there is no real treatment or cure for Alzheimer's or dementia. NONE! I don't write many reviews but felt the need to do so when I read a negative review. My husband has been a patient for a year and we have had excellent care from doctors, nurses, and office staff. Staff has reached out multiple times via phone to answer questions and Dr. Gitelman has also called me to discuss my husband's test results and treatment. In addition, Dr. Gitelman had a conversation with our pharmacist and the pharmacist remarked that she has never spoken to a doctor who spent that much time discussing a patient. ... read more
