After having a scan, I had to call Dr. Schwartner a total of 12 times to get my results. Only to have him tell me it was fine, end of story. After following up with a different GI, turns out I’m not totally fine. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Schwartner to anyone. Especially if you want to be taken seriously.
I would not recommend Dr. Schwertner as he is entirely too busy. From my personal experience he is obviously more concerned with the volume of patients he has rather than the quality care he is able to provide for them. It's now 3 weeks after 2 different procedures and I still have NO answers from the tests. I finally was able to talk with someone in his office and was told, and I quote, "Well we have the pathology report but Dr. Schwertner hasn't looked at it yet." That's NOT quality care.
I waited in the office for 50 minutes before my name was even called. After they took me back I waited till 10:45 and the doctor had still not been to my room. They were helpful when I left the room and said I wasn't going to be seeing the doctor. Brunswick medical care is terrible.
