We have know Ken and Darmstadt doors for over 20 years. His work is impeccable, and even though we had our door put in 20 years ago, Ken still remembers us. If we had a question or needed a part, Ken brought it to us or had us pick it up at cost. He never over charged us or tried to make a quick buck. He is also kind and compassionate, he always talks about his family! I highly recommend him!
My parents were loyal customers' of Darmstadt, and when last year they had an issue with their keypad, Darmstadt sold a replacement keypad to my father. After several attempts to install the keypad, it was not connecting with the garage door opener. My father (who was 76) called to try to figure out what the issue was, and the employees at Darmstadt told him it was his problem and they didn't have time to walk him through it (and actually hung up on him!!!). I had a significant problem with my garage doors. I called Ken, and he came over to check out the problem. He instructed us on how to handle the situation until he could get back to fix it. I called him the next day and told him the door situation got worse. He stopped by to see it that very night. The next day, he and his guys were at my house, and the doors were fixed. His prices for this service were very fair. He and his crew were the nicest I have ever encountered. I will always recommend this company.
I called in a panic, my garage door broke and i couldn't get my car out. Ken was there in no time flat, came back after appointments and fixed it! He was there until 9:00 PM...I will never use anyone else.
