I had a pleasant experience seeing Dr. Ephrem for for a yearly gyno appointment last year and decided to return this year--with some specific issues this time. She recommended a number of tests and scheduled a follow up appointment. I then had to chase down the prescription for the testing, calling the office several times. Upon returning for my follow up, instead of Dr. Ephrem, Dr. Darvish, took the appointment (my understanding this is normal for this office). Terrible experience Waited two hours total, one hour for my appointment, another hour for bloodwork. Very disorganized place, couldn't find my name, and also gave me a different doctor. They didn't even give me a due date for baby or any information for upcoming pregnancy visits!! The place was way overbooked and irresponsibly ridiculous. No time spent with me and negligent, incompetent staff.
My girlfriend had a terrible experience at this office. The staff is incompetent and the doctor is more focused on pushing her new spa that she opened up, instead of treating her patients properly. My girlfriend waited half a week to receive a prescription for her issue, even calling multiple times during the week, only for the staff to repeat this line, "oh...not sure...let me ask the doctor, we'll call you back" guess what? I was recommended to Dr. Ephrem and Dr. Darvish and am so happy I was! The experience with them throughout my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum was exceptional. I never felt hesitation in asking any questions and being my first pregnancy I had a ton. Both doctors answered all questions and concerns without making me feel silly for asking! Their office staff are amazing as well; from their receptionists to their phlebotomists, everyone was so great for each visit.
