We were not impressed with her knowledge of interior design. She pushes vendors she gets commissions from and doesn’t like it when you find an alternative vendor. She presented a quote from one of her vendors for cabinetry that was $6,800 that I thought was too high. I found another carpenter that did the same job for $2,300. She will nickel and dime you. But, the worst thing about working with Darlene is her attitude…it’s horrible! We would have fired her long before we had but she had several thousand dollars that we paid ... read more
