Dr Sampson treated a growth on my ear and it fell off in 3 weeks as she promised.
I found the appointment rude and unprofessional. The consultation felt rushed, and I was told that the mole on my forehead is skin cancer, yet the earliest biopsy appointment was scheduled for six weeks later. I left the office in tears. Having previously gone through thyroid cancer, I am very aware of the anxiety and stress such a delay can cause. I would like to see a different dermatologist, as I am extremely disappointed with this experience.
Recent visit with Dr Darlene Sampson. She was extremely professional and had great bedside manner. My concern was a reoccurring rash. She has been the first to explain why it’s been reoccurring and provided information about protective clothing I could purchase along with a prescription. Thank God I feel so much better and the rush is almost completely cleared.
Dr. Sampson is competent and professional, as well as kind. She is an awesome doctor and I am so glad to be her patient.
ZERO STARS: I have been with Optum for 28 days. In that 28 days, I met 2 wonderful Dr's & very professional staff however, Dr. Sampson was NOT one of them. The previous reviews about how rude she is and her horrific bedside manner are 100% true. I had skin cancer 2 years ago. She didn't bother to take a closer look @ my eye or anywhere on my body. You'd think she'd take the initiative because basal cell carcinoma can return anywhere on the body & must be checked every 6-12 months. She said I don't have eczema on my leg. Omg!... read more
