This was my first visit with Dr. Zagar and I was very impressed. His examination was very thorough. He provided very helpful advice regarding the two issues I discussed with him. He has my highest recommendation and I would not hesitate to refer him to my friends and colleagues.
He did a full examination and reassured me that everything was okay.. The doctor is very detailed oriented, and very meticulous when it comes to a thorough examine. The best doctor. 6 stars!
I was referred to Dr. Zagar by my cardiologist (he was endorsed/highly recommended by my PCP) after a serious syncope episode and head injury. After 3 attempts by my cardiologist's office to send over the required referral and clinical notes in order to schedule an appt., the appt. coordinators affiliated with Dr. Zagar's practice insisted (or continued to pretend) that they did not receive nor make any effort to cooperate in helping to resolve. I had a terrible experience with this so-called doctor. There was zero professionalism on his part and I was shocked at how he treated me… it was a truly shocking, disgusting and traumatic experience. I wouldn’t ever recommend him to anyone who needs to see a doctor.
Not sure why I see these bad reviews. I pled the 5th. Dr. Zagar was Phenomenal!!! I expressed my issues, and boy was I concerned. He assured me everything was okay after my examination. But we went through a series of different test, and I was like he's by far the best neurologist in the office. I'm so glad the prior doctor retired, and he replaced him.
The WORST doctor I’ve ever encountered. I am in shock that he is still in practice. Not only did he not listen to me without cutting me off with snarky comments, he was so rude and EXTREMELY condescending and into himself. It was a bizarre experience and I would’ve never expected his demeanor from a true medical doctor. He didn’t seem to want to solve anything. I would not recommend Dr. Zagar to anyone.
I had my first appointment with Dr Zagar. I was very happy with my visit. He listened to my concerns as well as asking me questions. His exam was very thorough and not rushed. He also took detailed notes which I read on My Chart. Would recommend.
I was very pleased with the professionalism of Dr. Zagar. He solved the problem I was having and traced it back to two sources- allergic reaction to over medication and an inherited minor Essential Tremor; all this was in one visit with no need for a return or prescription. 15 minutes, a walk down the hall and he insisted I have Parkinsons! That's it! Meds were totally ineffective and had diverse side effects. So he increased the same ones! Turned me over to his PA. Both resented questions and it was suggested that I might be happier elsewhere. Also denied that I had lupus and lyme and then denied denying it. Have a witness.
