Doctor Cunico was my dentist from 2002 through early 2014. I had no complaints about my care, with the exception of one important issue. Early on he encouraged me to replace a bridge because it didn’t look aesthetically pleasing to him. I told him a cosmetic procedure wouldn’t be covered by insurance, of course, and that in any case, the bridge looked perfectly fine to me. I love Dr. Cunico! I've always said he's more like a "man that works on teeth" because hes the furthest thing from the "scary dentist whose going to hurt me." Not only is Dr. Cunico funny, compassionate, and caring, he's also a close family friend. He's extremely empathetic. As a "special needs" patient with PTSD from past severe, dental trauma in certain institutional settings, Dr. Cunico knows how to handle my work with minimal pain and stress.
