Bob did our floors 30 years ago when he first opened shop. The fact that he's still in business speaks volumes. My wife and I just moved to our new house in Norwood and he was the first person we called (to install carpeting in the basement and engineered hardwood upstairs). Service is still the same quality I remember from 30 years ago. He runs things like an old-school kind of guy which may be a turn-off to some people, but my primary concern was price and his prices can't be beat. Wide selection of carpeting and wood flooring. Great personalized service. Installations are very professional with customer satisfaction the highest priority.
Did a great job on our stair runners and had done carpeting in the past for us and always did a good job
This is just to say the owner of the store is rude the way he talks to clients and I would never use him just for that one fact. The comments he made I wouldn't even say that to someone I know. I wish I couldn't even give him one star.
This place is a real sham. We hired them to change carpets to wood flooring in five rooms and living room. It was a hassle from the start. The subcontractor that he brought in made a mess in the house, covered the whole walls and closets with dust during finishing. They did things in such a hurry that I knew it would be a problem. Soon enough, the wood floors in one of the bedrooms started to buckle. It took 4 weeks of phone calls, nervous conversations to get him to send someone to fix the floors.
