Thank you so much Dr Wickum! I'm very pleased with the knee he replaced in 2023 - it was so long overdue that I ended up with a drop foot after surgery. He made sure I was seen by the proper surgeon & I had surgery to move the nerve & my knee hasn't worked so well in at least 20 years. Recently he saw me for a reinjury to a torn hamstring & they were able to schedule me for PT with the same awesome therapist that I had seen before for back issues & my knee recovery. Dr. Wickum is very kind and thorough. He has replaced both my knee and, most recently, my hip. Both went very well. In getting up after surgery pivoting on my hip was already better than before surgery. 5 weeks after surgery I am walking better before surgery.
My hip replacement surgery went completely perfect. From beginning to end. Dr Wickum and his team are truly amazing. They took the best care of me, before, during, and after the surgery. I chose to spend the night there in the surgery center. Every single person that was on my care team was compassionate, caring, and had my best interest in mind.
