I had an appointment With Dr. Pope on 02/07/2024. He sent a letter in the fall of 2023 he was looking in Stillwater for a different office. On 02/05/2024 I called his office to make sure he was still at the hospital. I received voice mail he was no longer in Stillwater and referred me either a Dr. in Tulsa or a Dr. in Oklahoma City. I believe this is very unprofessional, especially since this was to be a follow-up appointment on the progress of my cancer.

During a very scary moment, Dr. Pope performed surgery on my daughter to clean an abscess from her shoulder. He told us in great detail what he would be doing during the procedure and his plans for moving forward. He was very thorough and took the time to find out what was causing her infection by ordering many scans and tests. He listened to our questions and answered in a way we would understand. He was very kind and helpful. We appreciate the care he gave to our daughter during her stay. We will be forever grateful.

Very caring, courteous and knowledgeable,haven't had procedure done yet but don't have any reservations or concerns about that.

From the care that was given to my brother I would not recommend anyone taking a family member to him. Horrible bedside manor and very evasive on answering questions about lung cancer biopsy he performed. Don't waste precious time on this doctor!
