We went here for the first time and let me tell you, it was amazing. Coming from Hawaii, we have lots of Korean restaurants and so the concept of good Korean food is not foreign to us. DAQ is up there as a new favorite whenever we visit Texas from now on. The service was awesome, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was on point. We throughly enjoyed our meal and left satisfied.
I’m so glad I stumbled across DAQ! Korean restaurants seem to pop up overnight in Carrollton, so it can be hard to keep track of which ones are worth trying, and ones worth returning to. DAQ definitely earned a return visit! Based on their advertising, Korean fried chicken seems to be their specialty. DAQ as clearly stated by the full restaurant named serves Korean food in both traditional and street food styles. They also serve some delicious fried chicken. I ordered the Chicken Lunch Combo with lemon pepper flavor and it came with 4 wings, 1 drumstick, 1 tender, fries, carrot and celery, banchan, and a soda all for an amazing low price of $14.99. This restaurant used to be an easy 5 stars. Beef Tartare bibimbap and the Cheese Buldaq were my favorites. Some of the best Korean food ive ever had in Dallas. Up until 6 months ago they changed the recipes. I've tried this place a few times since then giving multiple chances, but the cheese buldaq is now just loaded with carrots and Korean sweet potatoes. Some of the best galbi I’ve had. The service staff is amazing and they make all their food from scratch, even their kimchi. Their staff Diana & Jenny know the food well and are very personable. Highly recommend.
