I suffered a bicycle accident on an otherwise nice Saturday in Seattle. The net is result besides a badly damaged carbon fiber Canyon bike was humeral fractures, stable pelvic fractures, some brain hemorrhage, and lots of scratches and bruises. In 2014 I was in a parachute crash. I was flown to Harborview, as if that wasn't enough great good fortune after such an event, I was assigned to the Blue Team led by Dr. Daphne Michelle Beingessner. I will continue to choose UW and their medical providers for my care. Dr. Beingessner was the lead physician on my recent ankle surgery. I’m hopeful for a strong outcome following the guidance and recovery steps she has set up. She shared her knowledge of my condition, what to expect, and gave a complete rundown so I knew what to expect.
