My girlfriend and I had an amazing time here. We chose this location because the price was very reasonable compared to surrounding locations. This place exceeded out expectations, simple as that. Dao House has gorgeous mountain views that you cannot get in downtown Estes Park, and is only a 20 minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Gross, dirty, cheap, smelly, sketchy, cultish. Something out of a bad 80’s movie. No Amenities whatsoever, not an exaggeration. This place was certainly better in the past but poor management and a stingy owner ran it into the ground like a parachutist without a parachute. At least the front desk guy was nice. It’s in a great location so after the business has crashed and burned it will hopefully be acquired by new owners that understand the necessity of maintenance and spending money on the place. My husband and I had our wedding at Dao House about a month ago and it was such a wonderful experience! You cannot beat the location. The ceremony site is stunning with an amazing view of Longs Peak and a stand of Aspens behind you. The set up for the reception was fantastic as well. The main hall is a beautiful room with plenty of space that still feels cozy. We easily fit 150 people in the space with plenty of room for dancing. Dao House Retreat & Wellness Lodge was the perfect choice for our family vacation. We loved the rustic charm and the warm hospitality of the lodge, as well as the amazing scenery and the variety of activities. The lodge is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, and we had a clear view of Longs Peak and Twin Sisters Peak from our balcony.
