Terrible they want you there at a time and you sit there for a hour and watch everyone else go through and you walk up and ask and they say theres still 3 in front on you when theres not even 3 in the waiting room
Dr. Sloan is extremely competent, genuinely concerned, and TAKES HER TIME (does not rush you)...and she's the only dermatologist in the Danville area (the next closest dermatologists are in LEXINGTON). So yeah, wait times can be extended. And in case anyone doesn't know, it's the 21st century, not the 1950's. Insurers are not paying for extended appointment/examination times. Given the financial pressures on doctors from Medicaid/Medicare/Private Insurers, as well as the cost of malpractice insurance, they MUST book heavily ... read more
Not that they aren't knowledgeable but they need to work on appt times. My husband had to leave work on a Friday for their latest appt at 11,assuming he would be back to work by lunch, not the case and they aren't open on Saturday for working people. Factories give points for leaving and it's hard to make appointments. Just wish more businesses thought about working people and their time.
