My first time there and I loved it. I'm already craving another Coal Fired Calzone.
Had family in town from out of state. They were wanting good pizza and we quickly recommended Dante’s in Cape Coral. They were seated quickly upon arrival but then it all went downhill. The restaurant was nowhere near full, and after approximately 15 to 20 minutes of no service (no drink orders being taken, no asking if they were ok) they finally made the decision to leave. Very disappointing service for a place with wonderful food.
For the Fort Myers location placed an order online at 12:39 for pickup at 1:15. I did not leave with my food until 1:43. Restaurant was not busy. Even left a tip . Boy do I feel stupid.
Caesar salad was average, garlic sticks were under done. The carbonara had very little flavor. Won’t order either of those again.
