I was quoted $75 for a tire change on the New York State thruway and they showed up and charged me $120, if I didn’t have the difference they were going to tow my car and then hold my car until I paid money for the towing and the tire change. Taking advantage of people in an unfortunate situation. Bad business.
I have not actually had a paid service by Dan's tire shop but they will be first in mind when I need work done or need a tow. My girlfriends car broke down at Wendy's and I just needed a pair of channel locks to get her outta there. I went to Dan's tire and auto and they were happy to loan me the tool I needed. What they gave me did the trick and she was on her way again! Just goes to show that this shop has great business ethics and values. I needed air in my bicycle tire today and dans is the closest place so I went in and waited while the clerk took care of someone else.. did not even get acknowledged I was even there.. he gets done with the customer and I ask if there's any way I can get air in my tire.. No we don't have air outside.. I said I realize that , could u open a door and take it in to do it?.. No everyone is busy.. I said oh ok thank you and walked out...
