Unless your extremely sensitive Dr Dano is amazing .All 6 of my kids have come to him since 2005 we are now in 2022 and beside moving out of state for my reason of having a new Dr for them he would have continued being the Dr to my kiddos..One of my kids got very ill and was rushed to supposedly the best hospital and all the specialists there did not know what to do for two weeks and sent my baby home. Everything stated in the other reviews is 100% accurate. I would also add that this man can not keep a schedule to save his life. Have a 9:00 apt, plan on spending 45 min waiting because he won't get to the office until 9:30. Meanwhile the waiting room & hallway's jammed packed with 8 families who also have 9:30 apts. Once in for the exam he'll asks if there're any concerns, where he immediately cuts you off to tell you "No thats normal!'. So after 3yrs we finally had enough & found a new dr.
The worst. He has an attitude, he is Mr. know it all, you can't even ask questions because he gets irritated and responds with an attitude. Doesn't listen to the parent, when you're telling him about your kid's concerns. It feels like he is always rushing. I've been dealing with his attitude for 5 year's, until this last visit that I just had it, he was so upset because I was asking questions that he started treating me like I was stupid and crunching his teeth. Don't go with him.
I can't believe his attitude not professional at all. I really don't bring my kids to the doctor alot. I brought my son because I notice pain on his foot as he runs I've notice it for a while he kind of limps and Dr said "I don't know What to do I can't send him to xray because I don't know what to tell them I c everything is ok?" Wth exactly what if what he has needs to be checks by xray or mri.. & with my daughter he says he doesn't know why she's feeling sick.. well that's why I brought her!!
I am very surprised at Dr.Danos overall rating. I have 5 children, the oldest is i and he has been their pediatrician since the day try were born. I really like test he is a "know it all" as someone stated before because it's very reassuring to myself and my husband. He's always right and i love his medical approach. He will only prescribe medication if it's absolutely necessary unlike other doctors out there. The staff is incredible.They know my children by name and make them feel so at ease.
He is very impatient! Doesn't listen to parents in regards to their concerns of their child's health. He is a know it all!
