I am new to Portage and really needed to have several repairs to my vehicle. Danny’s auto repair got me in the morning and I was able to pick up it up later in the afternoon. Danny explained everything that was needed to repair my vehicle. I was very pleased and happy with his service!
Danny is a great Mechanic. Very reasonable on price and does fantastic work with great turnaround time. First time I had Danny work on my vehicle was out of necessity due to a breakdown in the area. If I need work done now, I will drive 1.5 hours out of my way to bring my vehicles here. Would give 10 stars if I could.
Came to get my tires balanced and everything seemed to go good, but after a while my tires started to vibrate bad so I took the wheel off, turns out they cross threaded my lug nuts costing me over $200 for a new hub assembly. Which could have been easily avoided if they were to take their time when working on vehicles
Trustworthy and knowledgeable. I am happy I came to Danny’s with my old van needing several issues repaired. They resolved my exhaust leak, coolant system repair, and swapped in new brakes with expertise. By starting with the most sensible, simplest solutions and thorough explanations it kept my expenses low within my budget. They got my vehicle safely back on the road in a short amount of time with great communication keeping me updated regularly.
Danny is hands-down one of the most honest and genuine mechanics I’ve ever met. Even though he wasn’t able to fully fix my car’s issue, I still left feeling more confident and taken care of than I have at shops where I spent hundreds. He runs a one-man shop, which means you’re getting personal, attentive service from someone who truly cares not just about your car, but about you as a customer.
