A great experience – First, I'm not a professional musician. Even though I'm not, and therefore not a steady stream of income, these folks took care of my needs right away. I called ahead and was informed they were busy at the moment but I could leave my daughters guitair and pick it up later. This is the Best Alternative to the Big Box Retailer – I had the best experience I have ever had at a music store at Danny Ray's Music. They have the largest selection and if they don't have it in stock they will get it. Marshall, Orange Amps, Fender, Martin, Breedlove, Behrenger, Takamine, Yamaha and Epiphone you name it they have it. David and Ray the sales people are the most Knowledgeble in the Business.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?? WTF?? – I went to this "music store" today and I've never been more insulted, disgusted, and offended in MY ENTIRE LIFE. This "manager" or "owner" was VERY unhelpful and just plainly uncaring. If you believe that's all I have to say then you should be surprised then to know that the white customer who "it", the owner, was speaking with, he doesn't have a soul by the way, was having a great time with this creature and then he showed him off with a "come by anytime any day". Danny Ray's Music Great music store! Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. If they don't have what you need, they will try to get it for you. Wonderful music teachers as well.
Can't find a nicer bunch of folks – Great selection of musical instruments, amps and some accessories. Good prices, not a lot of wanna-be's playing guitar at 10 while your trying to shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not a lot of sound reinforcement stuff or accessories (pedal boards, for example) but that's probably because of the store's size. I understand there is a new location being planned that will be much larger and no doubt will have more of that stuff.
Danny Ellis - owner is not a person of his word! – I called Danny Ellis, owner of Dan Rays Music to ask him the price of a keyboard I wanted to buy and he told me $237.00 because he said it was on sale. I live quite a distance from his store, but went to pick up the keyboard because it was such a good deal. When I got there, Danny looked at the price on the keyboard he had on display and quickly exclaimed, "Oh dear, I think I made a mistake. Do you remember how much I told you was the price of this keyboard?" I said, "Of cou... read more

This was an honest mistake. I apologized for my error and offered to sell the keyboard at my cost and even showed her what that was, which by far beat any other price being offered at other stores.
Great music store and repair shop – This store should be "your" music store if you live anywhere near it. It has a great selection of instruments and accessories, plus a great in-house repair shop. They will treat you right and you will always get quality in every aspect as any small shop owned and operated by the owner. Their survival depends on you loving this place and they deliver.
