June 13, 2023 Shortly after 10am my wife and I were on our way to Meriter NICU to see our newborn daughter. We were traveling on Highway 12 near the Old Sauk Road exit. One of your older (red ish) semi trucks hauling a large excavator appeared to have recently entered the highway. There was a cloud of what I thought was dust coming from the trailer/machine, however once I heard my car getting pelted with rocks, I knew it wasn't dust.
