I really liked the two gentlemen who came to install a broken washer and a drier in our home. They were two very kind, if not a bit seedy, gentlemen. Unfortunately they did not tell us the washer was broken, and could not be fixed even though one of the men came out twice to try to fix it. We decided it was best to return the two machines, and so we arranged to have that happen. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DANIELS FAMILY VALUES APPLIANCE IN TOPEKA KS. Got a washer from them and it didn't spin. Called them and said they would come over ASAP which was Friday. Texted them on Monday and said they couldn't come because they had a flat tire. Told them to just come get it and give my money back. They said the warranty doesn't work like that. *** IS A WARRANTY FOR!???? How you gonna do some shit like that to someone that is part of the government shutdown and an Army vet?????? This place is amazing! They worked with us and let us not only make payments but hauled off our broken fridge and delivered free. I recomend these family friendly store to everyone! Ill be back soon!
I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to buy used appliances. They do not know how to properly fix and test their used items they sell. They sold my family three appliances that didn't work properly but yet claimed that they were all in perfectly good working condition. All three items were filthy inside and the washer even had a dead mouse. The dryer heating element was rigged up instead of being replaced and had a ton of lint built up that could of caused a house fire. The refrigerator freezer didn't even work... read more
