The impression that I was given is that the money is more important than the client. I presented a case that I actually resolved on my own with two 3 minute phone calls. The lawyer wanted a $1,000 retainer plus $250/hr. Plus the lawyer wouldn't guarantee any results! Her lack of guarantee made my decision for me.
