Dr. Zalkind always seems in such a hurry. When I go in for my visit he takes my blood pressure or such and talks about the notes his assistant has taken and either adds medicine or says it looks good. There is no discussion or anything. He has no personality and there is no personal Conversation. He knows nothing about me besides My heart. Nothing personable about Dr Zalkind at all. As soon as I find a new heart heart doctor I will switch. It is nice to have a smiling doctor help you.
I had a very poor experience with Dr. Zalkind following open heart surgery. He had no idea I was there for a follow up after surgery despite clearly explaining this when making the appointment. He never even listened to my heart or lungs nor wanted to hear any simple questions I had regarding my recovery. He left me very worried and anxious about my health.
Dr Zalkind is my heart Dr I am very happy with him he has been very helpful to me in my care. his staff is awesome and I wouldn't want anyone else caring for me.
I like him alot. He is very thorough.
