I saw Dr.Phelan for a painful injury that was limiting my daily life. He rushed through the appointments, wouldn't take the time to properly examine me or listen and failed to give me any kind of diagnosis to work with. I stopped wasting time and money going to him and sought out a new orthopedic doctor. Happy to say my new doctor was able to immediately pin point where my pain was, give me a diagnosis and made a plan to get me healed up. If I could leave a 0 star I would.
Had the experience of not being respected and being completely dismissed due to my weight. Was instantly judged for my weight with a BMI of 36.9. Notes said I was clearly over 37. Asked what activity I enjoyed doing, but was never asked what was my day to day activity is. Never was asked about weight loss…. I’ve lost 25 lbs (in the past 2 months) and am extremely active on a daily basis.
