Great doctor! Surgery was a great success- no issues or setbacks. The surgery staff was amazing too!
Dr. Husted performed my microdiscectomy back in 2011. At the time he and his RA explained the procedure, using models, letting me know what was going to be done. The surgery took 30 minutes. Ten years later I have a compressed disc but that's because of the previous herniation, nothing the Dr. did. I confirmed with another Dr. just to be sure. Bedside manor is lacking but when it comes to surgery I have zero complaints.
Dr Husted is always kind and knowledgeable I would never use anyone else.
Dr Husted seemed to have hit the nail on the head with my back/hip diagnosis. I had gone in thinking differently. The Rx he gave worked a miracle; however, since a miracle isn’t sustainable, he also Rx’d physical therapy. Am glad to have a backup plan. So far so good.
Very caring and listens to everything
Great! Had lumbar back surgery several years ago. That surgery solved the problem of loss of use of my right leg. It did however leave me in considerable pain. The pain got worse over time. So much to the point that heavy pain medicine stopped working. Dr. Husted discovered my entire backbone had shifted. He performed another surgery (he had not performed the first one) and since the recovery period I have had NO pain. 5 out of 5 stars.
Dr. Husted and the entire South Florida Orthopaedics team is undeniably wonderful! I’ve been using this group for many years and many different ailments. They’ve never failed me. From sprains to surgeries, physical therapy to imaging. From the front staff to the back bottom floor to the top I’d recommend fully!
My daughter went there with excruciating neck and upper back pain. The Dr. Never examined her, was with her for 2 mins, was rude, prescribed her muscle relaxers and left. So she has no relief, no answers,, and now we have to find another doctor and start over. He was more worried about who referred her and the Co pay. Very disappointing and will NOT be going back there. Staff was great, doctor Hustead not. Thanks for wasting our time.
