Dr. Champey was prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional. A test I was dreading (needles in my feet and legs) was almost painless. Big relief! I recommend him (and his tech Melissa) highly!

He seemed disinterested. Two weeks before my scheduled follow-up one of his staff called saying he wouldn’t be available for 6 more months.

Very dissatisfied with his indifference to my husband's condition. I contacted him two times through the patient portal. First time was told to take him to the Emergency Room. The second time my husband was experiencing psychotic symptoms after Doctor increased dose of one of his Medications. This time was told to see PCP or Psychiatry. Condition was caused by increase dose of the medication which the psychiatrist took the time to explain. I will never take my husband to Dr. Champey, again, and have told my PCP about his att... read more

My father has been an established patient of Dr. Champey's for some time. Today, Dr. Champey declined to see him when he was a late for his appointment. My father experienced stroke-like symptoms and was diagnosed as having had a TIA in the emergency room. He was instructed to follow up with his neurologist and be evaluated as soon as possible. It was further recommended that he work with his neurologist to have an MRI. The earliest appointment he could get with Dr. Champey was FIVE days after the TIA occurred, and Dr. Champ... read more

Both doctor Champey and his technician were very thorough. This is the first time in 15 years that I was diagnosed by a neurologist that was competent. The shock treatment to detect nerve damage was an "eye opener" Great job!

Felt as if I was an inconvenience to him. Was not willing to listen and cut me off the entire time while talking. This is the kind of experience that makes people not want to see doctors again. I called my PCM to suggest never recommending him to anyone.

We met with Dr. Champey on April 1 regarding my husband's dementia. Upon entering the room, he identified himself and shook our hands. He was thorough and pleasant asking questions and very patient with my husband's slow responses and gave him a good medical exam. He prescribed medicine explaining how it would work, ordered brain scan and a follow up appt and told us to call should we have any questions. He, and the staff, were nothing less than professional. Very happy with their care.

I saw Dr. Champey today. I felt he was very thorough with his questions and explanations. He took time to listen, and was nice to talk to. I did not feel rushed or blown off. He explained his immediate plan and the potential long-term plans. I'd highly recommend him. Also - all of office staff, nurses and lab techs I interacted with were happy and welcoming. Overall, it helped put me at ease during a stressful time with an unknown and scary health issue.
