I asked my "GI guy" Dr Harry Pickle for a new surgeon to go in a 2nd time to fix my inguinal hernia FAIL from a year ago. He suggested Dr Baillie. From the pre-op appointment, I felt I was in good hands in Dr Baillie's care. Today, I'm 2+ weeks out, and while I'm sure it was more involved than the first time, I joked (sort of) ahead of the surgery to cut me end to end, and use a belt AND suspenders - and anything else he felt appropriate to use. Dr. McDonald called him a Wiz Kid and that she trusted him with her Life. Based on her edification I trusted him with mine and came out of my Bowel Resection better then ever. Dr. Baillie came in on his day off to perform my surgery and did a terrific job. Everyone that I have talked to has told me that he is a gifted Surgeon and considering that I had major surgery with no complications, I would agree with all of them.
