I wasn't impressed by Dr. Salcedo years ago because I have muscle pain in my neck and so he wanted the nerves in it cauterized. That sounded invasive, so I refused. I left his department a year ago for ECMC, but the doctor I liked retired. Last October, a new disease started that made my pain and fatigue worse, so I made an appointment for Dr. Salcedo. My 37 yr old daughter suffers from mitochondrial disease, which is very painful. I brought her to see Dr Salcedo last month for pain relief. He was very rough and brusque with her during the examination, even though she told him that he was hurting her. He was not sensitive to her pain at all. He made a recommendation to see a doctor that she told him she had already seen, to no avail, but he refused to treat her because she was not willing to see him. I've been a pt for 7 or 8 years there and my job mandates me a lot which caused me to miss 3 appt. Over a 2 year period and I missed another one due to going on Medicare and I did not have my cards yet, and for some reason they could not look them up( every other health care facility can find them in a minute) so they canceled my appointment and I receive a letter from Dr Salcedo whom I've never met in my time there saying he cannot see me anymore.
