As a condition of his hospital privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital he was required to give me a follow up appointment because the Emergency Room doctor there referred me to him. His office staff gave me a run around and would not schedule me. So I had to call my PCP and ask him to call and pressure the office staff. I am a retired dentist. I am a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. I am very discerning and only desire the best. Dr. Daniel Kaplon is the best. I came to Dr. Kaplon after seeing another urologist who did nothing to investigate or alleviate my recurring pyelonephritis. The prior MD was not interested in my medical problem. RecommendedVery skilled at robotic surgery and provides excellent post operative care.
Dr. Kaplon removed kidney stones for my husband several years ago and was so kind and professional that when I experienced pelvic floor prolapse, I went to see him too. Three weeks ago I had robotic, laparoscopic sacral colpopexy. Dr Kaplon is a fabulous doctor and surgeon. I recommend him highly.

Can’t read pathology reports very well. But then again the pathologist misdiagnosed and gave an inferior lab report. If you misdiagnosed cancer you might want to hang up your license in the bathroom, you Should not be practicing medicine!
