Dr. Duncanson is a paradox. He is obviously skilled as a clinician and knowledgable. However, as others have noted, his people skills leave much to be desired. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder and is typically cocky, a bit dismissive, and not highly skilled in understanding the sensitivities of the patient. Now that he is CEO of SIMED and only practices once a week, I hope that his people skills do not have anegative effect on morale.
There is no rating low enough for this doctor. I wouldnt want him to treat my dog, much less another human being. He has no social skills and I wonder about his medical skills. He saw my mother on a day she had been given DISCONTINUED medication, and did NOTHING ~ no blood test (which would have shown the distress she was in).....nothing ~ just let her go EVEN seeing that I had to have a wheelchair to take her to the car.My Mother died that night. I found Dr. Dunkanson lacking in people skills. I also did not agree with his prognosis of taking me off a medication without first having run the necessary test to make sure it would be safe to do so. I will not return to him for treatment.
