When I first met Dr Choi when my son was diagnosed with cancer he was very supportive and was/is very detailed when it came to explaining his treatment plan. However he is a one way or no way type of doctor and isn’t willing to reach a middle ground with families when there is a problem. Dr.Choi was a fantastic doctor when our son was diagnosed with cancer and treated at Lutheran General Hospital. He had excellent bedside manners and supported my wife in the beginning….. My negative review goes toward the fact that he broke a promise to my wife that when she told him she felt uncomfortable with our son receiving treatment for stem cells at a specific hospital, he said give it a chance, and if you don't like it, we will send him to Luries.
