The only complaint I have is that the clinic Dr. Kayal works at, is no longer affiliated with the JMCH and does not take my United Healthcare Insurance. Now I have to find another gastroenterologist that I probably will not like or cares about my health as well. Dr. Kayal has always done me right along with his nurse, Pam. I hope Dr. Kayal reads this review. He was my gastroenterologist for several years and need to get back to him.
Dr. Kayal has always been professional and polite during my visits. Does have a sense of humor and serious about your care. He takes the time to talk to you and prepare you for whatever procedure you may be getting. I would like to return as his patient but the company he works for changed their association with West Tenn. Healthcare and the company dropped my insurance. That would not be his fault.
Dr. Kayal has been extremely helpful and explains the procedure he is going to do. He will take the time to explain what he has or not found. I can't say enough about his nurse Pam. She will always call you back and is always a pleasure to have dealt with. I have to say that who ever is over Skyline Medical Center has cost me my doctor by not taking United Healthcare Insurance and now I have to find a new doctor that I am not familiar with. Skyline Medical Center, you get no stars in my book.
You need new receptioists for sure!! I didn't get directions for taking my prep drink. I was prescribed CLENPIQ Prep and it was $185.... I called back and asked for something more reasonably priced... they prescribed GaviLyte -C...I didn't get any information about when to take it. When I called to get that information I was put on hold 30 minutes.... they still hadn't gotten my nurse... I asked them to have the nurse call me... 1 1/2 hours later it hadn't happened.
Dr. Kayal has been my gastric for years and now my husband sees him. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kayal, his staff and clinic. His nurse, Pam, is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!
Listened very well. Explained everything to me. Made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him.
On June 4, 2018 I had a colonoscopy performed. He found AVM and he fixed it. I was very expressed with the way he was very professional and perform his job. My family was also expressed by the way he explained what he found. Just want to say a big Thank you! I would tell anyone he knows his business and you would be lucky to have him as your doctor. Thank you again! Forever grateful! Jackie
Great experience, good listening and took his time explaining and answering questions. Procedure was handled well.
He's an idiot who never even looks at your records/labs until you are almost dead....I don't know how he's still allowed to practice!!! I would not take my dog to him!!!
