Recovering from a BPH surgery performed by Dr. Kaplon on June 6, 2017, The treatment by DR Kaplon and his staff has been OUTSTANDING, he is compassionate, skilled , understanding, and an excellent listener, to hear and answer all your issues. Scheduling absolutely no problems ,very accommodating University Pkwy office. excellent location, ,easy parking. immaculate, and comfortable Staff , (especially Nancy), professional, courteous, and friendly I would not hesitate to rate DR ANDREW a FIVE

I had no problem with my one interaction with Dr. Kaplon. On my follow up appointment I got stuck in a major traffic jam. I called the office from my car to let them know. They told me if I were more than 15 minutes late they would have to reschedule. I got there 13 minutes late on their clock and was told I had to reschedule. There was only one other patient in the waiting room. Dr. Kaplon, sometimes your own staff can sabotage you.

Was referred to Dr. Kaplon because of a distended badder caused by an enlarged prostate, a condition I have had for 25 years, which just kept getting worse over time. We decided to operate on my prostate. Dr. Kaplon performed the operation using a DeVinci robot. The results have been terrific. Throughout the course of care, I could not have asked for a better doctor. He listens and discusses. I never felt rushed in his office. His nurse and assistants always treated me with courtesy/respect.

He does not return any phone calls. On follow up visit he lets his nurse take out catherers and makes her go back and forth to his office to see what to do next??? Lousy bedside manners

I had some bad test outcomes with my GP and I didn't get much understanding them with my other doctors. Everyone wanted me on the same drugs, but they didn't have much clarity for me about what the underlying issues were. Dr. Kaplon's strategy was a lot different. He didn't want to push me onto drugs right away, and he sent me for different tests that helped us figure out the underlying disease processes. My health is now improving due to some simple changes, without drugs. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kaplon did a radical prostatectomy on me. He patiently explained everything prior to the procedure and made sure that I was well cared for following the surgery. I have complete confidence in him.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in early 2011 and after subsequent visits with Dr. Kaplon, I decided the best course of action for me was robotic radical prostatectomy surgery which he performed. My surgery went flawlessly and my post operative outcome has been very favorable. I have had no problem with incontinence. Recovery of erectile efficacy has been slow, but is returning. Four and a half years post surgery my PSA has remained negligible.

After seeing two other area urologists over the past 4 years I made an appointment with Dr Kaplon. My first visit was at the office by the hospital. There the wait was about 30 minutes. Subsequent appoints were at University Park and the wait was less than 15 minutes. Dr. Kaplon was much much better than the prior docs in terms of being informative and listening to and understanding my questions.

Dr. Kaplon is very personable. He seems more like a friend than a doctor as he never makes me feel rushed and answers all questions in language easy to understand. I would recommend him highly.
