Long story short, Heidi with Delta Airlines at Honolulu International Airport was amazing to us! We had a cancelled flight and extra long layover. Delta put us up in a hotel then gave us food vouchers. I lost my phone and wallet somewhere between the airport, shuttle, and hotel. Heidi kept it in the Delta office for me for the next day until I could get back to the airport to get it. She gave us some diapers for our baby and even more food vouchers to help us out!
The most chaotic airport I've ever been too!! Poor customer service!!! We almost missed our flight because of lack of assistance
Shame our airport. The Hawaii DOT should be embarrassed at the condition of this place. To know that this is what tourists see as soon as they arrive is sad.
For an international airport I feel like it's a small island hopper back on the 50's. Not efficient at all. Try coming off an international flight and walk 20 minutes from the plane to immigration. Let's not even talk about the bathrooms. Filthy and with Manila envelopes to throw your sanitary napkins away. Shame on you HnL airport. Disgusting and pathetic and I'm embarrassed.
They have the worst TSA , customer service communication skills
