Five stars isn't enough. Dr. Fahim is the rare surgeon who is brilliant and kind in equal measure. He explains things in plain English, never makes you feel rushed, and genuinely listens. I've known him for years, and he's a man of deep faith and integrity. You see it in the care he gives everyone: patients, colleagues, and those he mentors. I had to have emergency brain surgery September 2024 due to a brain tumor on my frontal lobes. I was initially prepped that due to the location of my tumor that I would have to learn to walk and talk again. Dr. Fahim did an amazing job removing my tumor and I came out of surgery with no problems.

I was a patient a while back. When I heard the possibility of surgery, I ran away. However, no matter how you try to outrun a diagnosis, it's there unless/ until you take care of it. Because of Dr Fahim and Dr Schaeffer's knowledge, expertise and bedside manner, I'm back again. I am listening this time. Following an alternate route, but going to take care of what ails me.
